This sound meeting see's Bristol Dub Club's recently launched next generation sound - 1Relation meeting for the first time with Anonymous.
1Relation, or One Relation as it's pronounced, are among a wave of new roots & dub sound systems that launched in Bristol last year, with their successful debut event also taking place at Dub Club back in November. The sound system sounded great that night and with the crew already boasting a deep record collection along with their own studio productions, and a singer in Sista Ina aka Rosina who can be a real show stopper when she sings over the riddims. Their vibe & sound are ready to be showcased and they also have a string of future releases in the pipeline.
Wilfy Rootikal is also part of Peng Sound Records and has been rocking dance floors in Bristol & beyond for a good few years now, and on the subject of Peng Sound. The crew are also in regular collaboration with the likes of Ishan Sound from the same label.
Jonny Fisha aka King Fisha Sound has been a highly respected underground producer of dub & steppas for years now along with launching this sound system he's also been working hard on developing a top quality studio, a space where the crew can get creative. He's had one of his dubs released on Steppas Records last year & there is plenty more on the way. Both Jonny & Wilfy have been attending Bristol Dub Club since they were youngsters, so to be stepping through now with their own sound under the guidance of the likes of Ras Muffet & Big D means a lot.
Sista Ina aka Rosina is the singer for the sound and her beautiful voice always strikes hearts. She's been recording vocals ready for future releases while she's also an environmental justice activist and part of Ujima Radio, co-hosting the Black and Green Future show with Miss Divine. bringing about radical change and positive conscious shifts through creativity- her word sound power being one of many instruments.
Anonymous Dub Sound System - These local legends are a real family sound with Victor & Jamo. Jamo brings nuff good vibes & energy to any session while Victor is wicked at improvising on the mic with his flow and ability to put a smile on people's faces with his lyrics. Both men have dubs to burn as well and their sound system is heavy!
