Oppo Comedy has been going for more than 25 years. It's seen previous crew members go on to become household names (Russell Howard, Jon Richardson), social media stars (Abi Clarke, Morgan Rees) and well-respected professional comedians.

Every Tuesday we'll be bringing you ideas fresher than a first year in September, and YOU get to decide whether they get to go on to become part of award-winning Edinburgh Fringe shows, Live at the Apollo sets, or whether we leave them in the Barrelhouse never to be heard again.

There really is no more exciting way to watch comedy than in a small room with some of the country's best comedians panning their notebooks for gold. 

If you're lucky, you'll even get to play the Oppo Game.

In the spring and summer you'll have the chance to watch acts preview their Edinburgh shows, or catch acts as they prepare to hit the big venues on tour.
