Clay Bottom Jug Busters
-------------------------
Booty shakin’ blues & hard hootin’ hokum from the streets of 1930s Memphis.

Fresh from a season in New Orleans, Bristol’s harmonica toting, jug blowing, blues singer Joe Strouzer founded the Jug Busters with renowned guitar slinger Joseph Trudgeon. Add in Tim Hearn on Mandolin, Sadie Morningstar Capps on upright bass & Paul Archibald on drums & you have one hell of a show.

The energising Thorpe & Morrison are rapidly ascending as one of the finest young folk duos in the UK.

Formed out of the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, the pair fuse their anglo-scottish roots into ‘a spellbinding mix of old & modern’.

The sharp-eyed festival fans might recognise them from the brilliant Filkin’s Ensemble.
