event
on Saturday 27th April. The event starts at 15:00.
Directed by two first-time Jewish filmmakers who share a similar story to the film’s protagonists, ISRAELISM uniquely explores how Jewish attitudes towards Israel are changing dramatically, with massive consequences for the region and for Judaism itself.
This screening is a free event and will be followed by a live Q&A session with one of the producing directors, Erin Axelman, and Bethlehem native, Baha Hilo who features in the film and lives in the West Bank under the Israeli Occupation. Joining them will be two other panelists who represent the diversity of the British Jewish population.
British Palestinian, Petra Mansour will also be present to speak and share some of her reflections through poetry.
This is a free event; if you wish to make a donation on the evening, proceeds will be donated to The Arc venue who have allowed us to host free of charge. Their registered charity number is 1190148.
Running time: 1hr 24 mins
Followed by quick refreshment break and Q&A.
We hope that the Q&A can provide a platform for fruitful discussions and reflections.
