***UPDATE 19/08/2023 4:30pm***
It is with heavy hearts that we have decided to postpone tonights event. After the downpour this afternoon we went to the site and assessed it. We are sorry to say that while a performance might be possible, we cannot guarantee the safety of attendees. The ground was very wet and sodden with patches of mud around the entrances and exits, and the tiles and stones were very slippy underfoot.

We are so sorry for the short notice, the weather has been so unpredictable, and so we are hoping to reschedule in the next few weeks. We are happy to issue refunds if you email us at [email protected].

Otherwise, hold on to your tickets and we will email you directly and announce on our socials with a rescheduled date (and further option for a refund)!

Many thanks for your understanding, and thank you again so much for your support. Best wishes, Tom, Liz, Katie, Ellen xxxx

You are warmly welcomed to a very special edition of Dark Alchemy.

Join us in the atmospheric ruins of Temple Church for an intimate acoustic performance by Dead Space Chamber Music. This will be the first event of its kind in this stunning site since its recent re-opening following extensive preservation works.

The event will be raising funds for English Heritage who take care of this and so many unique historic places.

DEAD SPACE CHAMBER MUSIC are an experimental early music group of cello, guitar, drums and voice from Bristol, UK. They reinterpret historical material, taking forms and melodies from the medieval and Renaissance periods in particular, and shape-shifting them into new contemporary works.
