A gig held at Strange Brew on Wednesday 21st July. The event starts at 19:30.

Bristolian local legends, Snazzback, unveil their new album "In The Place" at Bristol newest music venue, Strange Brew!

"New wave dancefloor instrumentalists, Snazzback's music overflows with deep grooves and loose, lolloping rhythms that tease and play, sometimes languid and carefree, other times energy spiralling upwards"

Having been a regular sight busking on the streets of Bristol for years now, the band have simultaneously held down a weekly residency at The Gallimaufry as well as performing at festivals such as Boomtown, Shambala and Glastonbury.

"In The Place" represents a real development of the Snazz sound, with BBC Radio support from Gilles Peterson, the band are clearly now making waves beyond the West Country. Join us for an evening of music as Snazzback perform tracks from their new LP before hitting the road around the rest of the UK. Come down early and bag yourself a copy of the vinyl!

Worm DJs will be warming up the room for the evening, as well as Snazzback's very own Pharaoh do Pandeiro with his wide-ranging selection of Latin, Brazilian and more leftfield records...

Tickets available now via Headfirst Bristol.

Just a heads up of the venue's Covid policy for those of you who haven't seen it already. Please also note that this show will be standing and at nearly full capacity, having been announced and sold back in May.

- Reduced capacity (our rooms are spacious!)
- Additional ventilation – no recycled air
- Mask wearing encouraged
- Mask required for entry & compulsory when ordering at the bar
- Regular hand washing / sanitisation encouraged. Hand sanitiser will be available but please bring your own if possible.
- Longer breaks between performances to allow breaks outside
- Deep cleaning every day
- Card / contactless payments only – no cash
- Card machines and contact points sanitised regularly
Please do not attend if you are showing symptoms of Covid-19 or are a close contact with a positive case.
We ask that all attendees are respectful of these circumstances and especially of each other's personal space - now more than ever! We reserve the right to remove anyone seen not doing this.
