A gig held at Strange Brew on Thursday 16th January. The event starts at 19:00.

WetWare’s starting 2025 off strong, as we mean to go on, back at Brew for an evening of live audio visual performance!

For this edition we’ve got RSspoon, the power duo of Missterspoon and RSTangent, bringing their frenetic improvised hardware jams. Together forming into something powerful, gritty and percussion heavy. Myr & Thomas Ridley are joining forces, improvising together around a theme of “rhythm without drums”. Dubbed out chords, swirling arpeggiated melodies and abstract textures chopped and shaped by sharp envelopes into something with an ambient rooting but an eye for the movement of a dance floor. Regina Collage brings haunting vocals overlaid onto a bed of fuzzy synth lines, dub FX and drum machine beats.

As ever each music act is joined by a visual artist performing alongside them. With equal focus put on the projections and the way both elements interact with and influence each other. Aevi returns with their hyper-detailed fluid digital textures. Jason Baker brings his propulsive audio reactive 3D forms and figures. While Triple Geek patches up a visual wall of sliding, swirling and warping 2D shapes.

This’ll be a seated show, giving full view of the visual art projected large on the big Brew screen and the performers on stage.
