A event held at Strange Brew on Thursday 13th October. The event starts at 19:00.

GIRLS Camera Club presents: ALPHA, their first collective exhibition showcasing the work of 8 female and non-binary analogue photographers at Strange Brew.

GIRLS Camera Club are a community of people who’ve come together from different backgrounds and places, with the common need to express themselves, articulate moments and find meaning through the medium of analogue photography.

The exhibition asks the questions: Who are we? What does or doesn’t make us women? What is our place in the world? It is an exploration of our identities, relationships and our inner and outer worlds.

Bristol-based Longthrow Radio will soundtrack the evening with DJ's from 7-11pm:

*** DJ Honeybear ***
*** The Jellyfish Project ***
*** DJ Major ***
*** sadsugar ***

Jack’s Lab will be running their 4x5 Large Format Analogue Photobooth so bring your pals and your best smile.

The GIRLS invite you to come and explore their world, through photography, see what beauty can be created through community and what "womanhood" means to each indivdual.

If you can't make it for the launch night, the exhibition will be on until the 16th of November so please go and check it out!

Special thanks to Bread and Butter Studio and Permajet for supplying and supporting us with the prints for the exhibition.
