Joe Delon is a DJ, label owner, radio host and writer based in Lisbon. His warm approach — connecting the fundamentals of disco, house, electro and italo to dance music’s vivid present — has brought him to respected clubs like Panoramabar, Blitz, Closer and Savage, festivals including Dimensions, Horst and Lighthouse, and queer parties from Adonis to Honcho, Kiss Me Again, Los Ninos, Por Detroit and Pumping Velvet.

Joe’s label, Welt Discos, is a platform for music that’s playfully serious and seriously playful. Alongside vinyl releases by friends and artists he admires, the label has also become home to a series of fundraising digital releases.

Online, Joe has recorded guest mixes for Resident Advisor, Truants, Is Burning, The Ghost, Maricas and Honey Soundsystem. On the radio, he ran the monthly show Flamingo on Lisbon’s Rádio Quântica for four years and was a resident on Frankfurt’s EOS Radio. He has appeared as a guest for Prosumer (NTS), CC:Disco (Rinse), Butter Side Up (Rinse) and Bubble World (Refuge Worldwide).
