PTS link up with Night Slugs, who're celebrating 15 years in the game.
Night Slugs’ have had a singular impact on club culture both UK and global, that few others can claim to have had. They took the idea of the ‘hardcore continuum’ by the hand and, alongside fellow post-dubstep luminaries Hyperdub and Hessle Audio, guided it into a digital world that was more global in it’s outlook. Early UK adopters of Jersey Club, their hybrid sound and constant evolutions have been a particular influence to many of us in the crew. So it feels like a real full circle moment to have the honour of hosting the Bristol leg of their 15th birthday celebrations.
At the helm is a 3 hour b2b from label founder Bok Bok and mainstay Ikonika. These pair are, individually, two of the headliners we’ve booked most over the years, and it’s not without good reason. We’re beyond excited to see what they’ll bring to an extended set and their first time in the Brew backroom. Support comes from our very own club connoisseur Ye Ye, who’ll be bringing his finest bag of Club dubs, VIPs and own productions for the occasion.
