Doozy 002: Lore at Strange Brew
Headfirst Editor's Pick

"Unmissable visionary scenes! Medieval fever dreams meet sci-fi fantasies in the most ambitious exhibition / gig / club union these parts have ever seen. Doozy strings together ceramic tape loop sculpture, DIY dream simulators, experimental film screenings and sword fighting with performances from beloved chamber drone crew Viridian Ensemble and dark age acid from DJ Gregorian."

An overindulgence in the possibilities of expanded cultural experiences via the mediums performances, actors, films, AV magik, hallucinatory mirrors, interactive art, video games, installations, sound art, painting, sculpture, and music. A postmodern-medieval opera for the club based on the theme of 'Lore'.

Evo Ethel: Bristol based dream-pop art-rock solo act fusing sound and image through hybrid av/live processes. A kaleidoscopic journey into memory, history, and sonic experimentation.

Viridian Ensemble: Avon's premiere AV experimental band fusing colour, sound, image, texture, and noise in technicolour multi-instrumentalism with live AV projections by Laura Phillips. An all female/femme experimental group like no other pushing the boundaries of performance, film, and improvisation.

The Tunnel Singers: Topping off the experimental AV bands we have a special one off performance led by artist Skye Meridith Turner of 'Larpe Diem' featuring a real life choir of tunnel singers.

Tilly: NTS regular and collector of obscure sonics from across the spectrum of dungeon, wave, synth, pop, disco, New Beat, post punk, and psyched out celtic prog.

Dj Gregoryan: Parisian selector of postmodern medieval dance sonics from acid house to breakbeat and beyond.

Anina: Welsh legend and veteran of the Bristol scene shares some Jungle on vinyl to close occurrences.
