"Sell out warning! Free entry celebration of your favourite Park Street vintage Americana emporium. Uncle Sam’s hitting his mid-life crisis in style with free-form math punk / jazz not-rock heroes Repo Man and propulsive grunge-fuzz from Peach. Plus flannel shirts and records galore at birthday prices."

A
gig
held at Strange Brew
on Saturday 13th April. The event starts at 15:30.
Uncle Sam’s is thrilled to announce the shop is now 40 years old! So to mark this fine achievement we’re throwing a party at Strange Brew in April, an all day event with live bands, vintage clothing, records and more.
We're excited to now announce the bands playing this coming Saturday along with times.
Doors at 3pm
Uncle Sam's and Rudi's Records will be running a couple stalls during the course of the day into the evening. Come down early to not miss out on those special finds!
Live music starts from 6pm with a double dip from two of Bristol's post punk finest. First with PEACH at around 6 with some honest n' angry noisy business with a dash of generator idealogy. With barely enough time to catch your breath disorientating no way-ve grooves, jerk melody and shotgun poetry via REPO MAN start at 7. Raising all the spirits high and locking up this live music part of the night are the MIGHTY 45's at 8pm, a band too good for us mere mortals.
Closing out the night we'll spin as many of the finest records the last 40 years have given us from 9-10pm.
Saturday April 13th, 3pm until 10pm we welcome you to come celebrate the legacy of a Bristolian small business institution with customers old and new as well as members of the shop’s family to give Uncle the bumps!
