NVST
Over the past few years, NVST has become a mainstay on line-ups across Europe and beyond and we’re honoured to welcome her to Brew for her Bristol debut. Hot of the back of a head turning b2b with Toma Kami at Dekmantel Festival 2024 the Swiss DJ / producer has been consistently pushing her unconventional approach to the broken beat in her sets, exploring all corners of the weird and wonderful while maintaining an energy that is hard to match. Her rinse show “Easy Life” is a must listen with odd-ball excursions through techno, UK bass, acid, downtempo and anything in between and her productions also draw on this wide range of influences resulting in a beautifully diverse discography, showcasing her distinct sound while remaining completely unique. Her track on the Dekmantel 10 year Compilation is a clear stand out, sure to provide a big dance floor moment and, alongside a pumping EP for SSPB earlier this year and a string of incredible releases on her own Big Science Records, she's really put herself on the map as one of the biggest gems of the underground.
Bake
One of Glasgow’s finest, Bake has been a mainstay in the scene rolling through all kinds of UK techno, weirdo bass and broken rhythms with his mind-bending sets which have taken him across the globe, most recently returning from a headline tour in Asia. His curation for “Spirit”, a party series based at Sub Club in his home town, is eye-wateringly good, hosting the likes of Ben UFO, Pariah, Object, CCL, Batu, Craig Richards and most recently the don himself, Donato Dozzy; you can tell he’s a man of fine taste. He was given the honour of recording RA’s 909 mix at the end of last year and did not disappoint with an expertly woven tour through his trove of leftfield treasures and cemented him as one of the best about. An impromptu b2b with Yushh in Shanghai earlier in the year was a big highlight so we’re excited to see how these two meld their styles in the Brew back room.
LWS
Representing PD, this hugely talented DJ/ Producer has been steadily releasing some of the most forward-thinking dancefloor oddities over the past few years. He truly is a production powerhouse with his music featuring regularly in sets for the likes of Ben UFO, Joy Orbison & Shanti Celeste plus one of his forthcoming bangers has to be the most filmed track from Yushh’s sets this year, always taking the floor into a frenzy. We’re gassed to have featured a track of his on last year’s INTL comp and can’t wait for people to hear the releases he’s got lined up for 2024 on some incredible labels. He'll be coming fresh from a stacked line up at Corsica Studio’s for Call Super and Parris’ “Can You Feel The Sun” party outfit and has had previous mixes receive the coveted RA’s Mix of The Day accolade so we’re in good hands for the warm up duties. Feel like we’ve nabbed him just before he shoots off into the stratosphere – keep your eyes on this one.
