DJ, producer and co-founder of Hessle Audio, @pangaea_dj, has been a fixture of forward-thinking club music for the last 15 years, and we are excited to finally welcome him for his Brew debut.
Interested in the tension between dark and light, his sets are acrobatic voyages that reach outward to integrate Techno, House and exploratory UK styles into their rhythmic axis; an aesthetic captured on his monthly Rinse FM show, his Fabriclive CD, and at internationally-renowned clubs and festivals around the world. Expect hypnotic, hi-nrg dancefloor destroyers all night long.
Bristol’s best-kept secret, @cleyraaa joins ahead of the release of their debut EP on Timedance, bringing their signature playful, emotional and spellbinding take on experimental techno and ambient bop.

Producer, DJ and Hessle Audio co-founder, Pangaea, AKA Kevin McAuley, has maintained a magnetic output that derives its energies from a synthesis of the familiar and the futuristic, with his 2023 album on Hessle Audio, Changing Channels, only the latest example.
Changing Channels also reflects an ongoing conversation between Pangaea's productions and his DJ sets at renowned clubs and festivals like Berghain, Fabric, Dekmantel, Glastonbury, Junction 2, and Houghton. There's a feedback loop where the records he plays became a northstar for tracks he wants to make that feel compatible but still memorable and identifiable as his own. It's a process also audible in his long-running residency for Rinse FM, where an ongoing engagement with different crowds and styles creates a laboratory for testing ideas.
Pangaea's music and DJing are steeped in expansive references to UK dance music cultures while offering an explosive mutation all his own - genres combust, collide, and cohere, creating entirely new innovations in their wake. A strange, banging energy comes from his finding space between sounds and scenes, and these uncharted paths continue to hold new discoveries many years on.

Their debut EP ‘remember this body ?’ out via Timedance on 23rd May, is charged with a juxtaposition between feverish peak time and dreamy downbeat and displays a sonic palette which is as eerie as it is advanced.
Cleyra’s kaleidoscopic approach to crafting songs nourished with a deep, emotional and seductive energy, carries us through lucid-dream-inducing soundscapes where strangeness and elegance go hand in hand.
