Strangebrew presents...

K.O.G. (LIVE 6-piece band)
+ GAROËSS

It's guaranteed good-feel vibes for April bank holiday weekend at the Brew, as we welcome the multi-talented, Ghana-born / UK-based K.O.G off the back of the release of his third album, Don't Take My Soul. He brings with him his 6-piece high-energy outfit, fusing traditional Ghanaian folk rhythms and global electronic influences.

"A multi-dimensional creative force, K.O.G. combines exquisite writing skills with shamanistic live performance, fierce raps, perfectly on-pitch singing and some absolutely wicked dance moves. A true poet and storyteller, he uses a mix of English, Pidgin and Ga to paint sonic pictures that reach deep into the souls of everyone ready to listen"

Plus, warming things up we have GAROËSS, a Bristol-based multi-genre DJ, influenced by the growing landscape of global percussive sounds and known for sets infused with a dynamic array of Afro-diasporic beats.

"GAROËSS, is a British-Namibian-Indian DJ and aspiring Producer who thrives on her passion for multi-genre music! Born and raised in Bradford and now Bristol-based, she found inspiration in her sister's R'n'B tunes, the energetic atmosphere of local Bashment clubs, the rawness of Grime, and the Niche and Bassline CDs that were sold in the school playground"
