Burnout & Boundaries offers you the space to restore, resource and reset, learning new tools and practices that can transform how you meet day to day challenges.

A one-day workshop to develop greater capacity to set compassionate boundaries and explore the patterns and drivers to over-extend, exhaust yourself or burn out.

This space of rest and exploration counters the trend that pushes us to always be on, connected, doing something, going somewhere, being something!....So that the hard cycles of anxiety, fatigue and collapse may be softened and dispersed, allowing for a greater movement to meaningful connection, and moments of pause, tender care and attention.

Using practical, shareable and generative practices Kanada invites you to explore being subtle and moveable, taking care of yourself, and still showing up for and with others.

Kanada Gorla is a leading practitioner of creating spaces where creativity flourishes, compassionate sharing is welcomed and generative practises are put to the service of people, places and the natural world. During her time creating a diverse and thrilling set of programmes with grass-root community makers, purpose-led businesses, faith groups, creatives and young people she designed a highly regarded burnout retreat for Sharpham House in Devon. Knowing that a huge amount of people do not have the time or resource to go on a 4-day retreat Kanada is bringing some of her favourite insights, tools and practices into this day-long workshop in central Bristol.

Kanada is supported by Trace Mulzac, Clara Fung and Chiz Williams. All based in Bristol and working, enjoying and experimenting in the community making and place-building space, using activities like sport, cinema, fun days and innovative cultural events to support creating intimate and expressive spaces to encourage community making.

This event is part-funded enabling ticket prices to be lower than normal commercial rates. We have a Pay-it-Forward ticket option as we hope we can make tickets available at no cost to people who are interested in this option. Please be in touch.
