Advanced Physical Performer Training at St Werberghs Community Centre
See event details

A event on Saturday 25th January. The event starts at 10:00.

Advanced Physical Performer Training is a 2 day workshop intended for experienced actors and performers to revitalise their practice.
It is a boot camp to tune your acting muscles, and work through blocks that may be inhibiting your process. It is not a classroom to teach you how to act. All kinds of actors are welcome and encouraged, from all disciplines. You do not need any formal training, but experience and a basic understanding of acting techniques is necessary.
We all possess within us, a sincerely unique creative force. This is the place we can work together to harness that.
It is a place to come together, push ourselves and try to transgress the blocks to that are limiting our full expression.
If it sounds cult-y, that’s only because I am passionate about making people the most free they can be on stage! I have no ulterior motive to what kind of theatre you make and no aesthetic that I am driven by, promise!
You should leave the weekend feeling inspired by the power and magic of acting again and absolutely positive that you know how to be the best actor you can possibly be.
