The Art of Liberation : Before & After The Bristol Bus Boycott
Commemorative Walk
Saturday 30th September
Meet outside St Pauls Learning Centre 11am.
Join Active Archives for a commemorative walk animated with poetry, performance and reflection, that will journey through the city stopping at historic sites.

Placing the Bristol Bus Boycott pioneers within the long line of African heritage change makers and freedom fighters, the walk seeks to connect past, present and future action towards liberation. Come as you are or with a placard or a poem to share. We also encourage dressing up as your most inspirational revolutionary figure or taking direct inspiration from the Bristol Bus Boycott, your best 1960s attire! This will be 'serious revolutionary fun'…
