St Nicks Night Market at St Nicholas Market

A event on Friday 3rd June. The event starts at 18:30pm.

Bristol Night Market is back for its monthly fun, frolics and feasts in and around Bristol’s legendary St Nicholas Market.

This month the festivities will celebrate Bristol’s City of Sanctuary status, showcasing the city’s diversity through both music and food from around the world. The market takes place during Bristol Refugee Festival, which runs from 24th May – 26th June, and celebrates the valuable contribution refugees make to the city.

It’s Tribe of Doris’s turn to take over the live stage on Corn St with a celebration of diverse culture. The stage will play host to a variety of performances from musicians and artists from all corners of the world.

The market has everything you need to kick off a summer weekend. Grab yourself a beer, wine, foraged cocktail or legendary Dick Willows cider and take a wander through the markets, which will be staying open for some late night shopping.

Inside, the markets are a treasure trove of trinkets, hats, jewellery, fossils, clothing, wool, chocolates and gifts. There really is something for everyone.

Watch belly dancers, listen to the live bands or tap your toes to the DJs spinning roots, reggae, disco and funk in the Glass Arcade, while you decide what to eat from a selection of global street food stalls.

Be inspired to try food from around the world including Thai noodles and curries, Sri Lankan curries, Jamaican jerk chicken, Mexican tacos, Middle Eastern flatbreads and much more.

Commenting, Richie Bryan from Tribe of Doris said: "Tribe of Doris are delighted to be hosting the performance stage at the St Nicks Night Market this month, showcasing a diverse range of home grown and international talent!"

As always, many shops in the neighbouring streets will also be staying open, including Rag & Bone with their legendary espresso martinis.
