A
event
on Saturday 29th July. The event starts at 13:00.
Come and Sing! Experience the incredible feeling of being part of a group making music together. Nothing is more empowering!
Who is this Pop-Up Choir aimed at?
Everybody who wants to get involved in group music-making in a friendly space, and who enjoys singing (even if they think they're not very good at it!). No choral experience is necessary, and there is no need to read music. It's for all ages including children as long as two hours of singing (with breaks) will be fun for them.
What will happen?
Arrive at St James Church Mangotsfield by 1pm (note this is not the normal Ham Farm Festival venue, but in the church 5 minutes walk away)
Anya will lead you through fun group warm-ups.
Then she'll teach everyone a round to develop confidence in singing in harmony with others.
After a short break she will teach you two Caribbean Songs in three or four parts, to sing together with professional instrumentalists.
You will leave with your ears full of music, and a big smile!
