The Turning at St George's Bristol
See event details

A gig held at St George's Bristol on Thursday 29th May. The event starts at 19:30.

Under white noise and digital chatter, an ancient planetary pull…

Inspired by the eternal rhythms of the natural world, sisters Rakhi and Simmy Singh draw on their rich musical heritage in this pared-back show for violin duo and electronics.

Lose yourself in the earthy sounds of Indian classical and Celtic folk, alongside contemporary and experimental new music. ‘No One Is Too Small To Make A Difference’ is a journey in six movements, capturing the urgency of the environmental movement in sound form. A lament for what’s lost but ultimately – a call for active hope and radical action.

The great turning is here and now. There’s no escaping it.

This concert is approximately 75 minutes long + a 25 minute interval.

Entry requirements: 14+
