Slow Fashion Playground - Reclaim Your Wardrobe at Sparks Bristol
pay-as-you-can (minimum for evening)

A event held at Sparks Bristol on Saturday 16th November. The event starts at 11:00.

Discover new ways to get creative with your clothes and textiles at our all-day workshop event. We will be hosting a range of activities and workshops throughout the day, showcasing various voices in slow fashion, including:

upcycling (including shoe upcycling!)
mending
crochet
stitching
Swerv interactive App demo
textile craft supply swap
open talks
and more!

Workshops and activities will be happening all day from 11am-6pm. No previous skills needed to take part! We’ll be sharing a more detailed program on our social media channels (@weavingchangeuk and @re_thrindle) closer to the event! Kids and adults welcome.

Bring an item to mend or upcycle. And bring some materials for the textile craft supply swap (tools and materials; no more than 1 bag per person please)

There will also be an after-party at PRSC (People’s Republic of Stokes Croft) with a Scrappy Fashion Show (details for this will be announced shortly). The afterparty is 18+ ONLY.

The day event at Sparks is from 11am-6pm, the afterparty from 6.30pm-10.30pm.
The day event is organised on a pay-as-you-can basis, the afterparty is ticketed (£9 in advance/£12 on the door). If you’d like to support us some more and make sure that we can host more events like this in the future, please consider an extra donation.

P.S Buying tickets in advance helps us to plan for numbers and support the event financially. Thank you!
