A
event
held at Sparks Bristol
on Thursday 4th April. The event starts at 11:00.
A brand new experience is coming to Bristol City Centre this Spring.
Come visit OTTOPIA, a world of creative play and interactive fun, presented by Bristol based OTTER Produces. OTTOPIA is a novel, black and white striped, family-friendly immersive experience that will enchant visitors of all ages and inspire curious minds. Sparks, the former M&S building now celebrated as a beacon of sustainability and arts, will host the remarkable experience.
//What is OTTOPIA\\
OTTOPIA is not just an event; it's a black and white striped adventure. Developed over the last 7 years within festival fields across the UK, OTTER Produces has developed a new version of OTTOPIA, packed with stripes, side-quests, and interactive games, all curated to ensure an unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages. The dynamic duo, Lutra Lutra, will host and encourage all to explore this striped world, engage in playful activities, and immerse themselves in the interactive wonders of OTTOPIA.
//What to expect\\
The experience is designed to last around 30 minutes. All participants will receive an activity sheet upon entry to OTTOPIA, which will guide you through the experience. Within OTTOPIA itself, you will find a number of our unique, handmade OTTER games, amazing otter facts and dazzling black and white displays all around.
Our custom games in portable cases, Rubox and RETTO Recall will be available for all to play. Naren Wilk's brilliant Love Matrix will also be on display, ready and waiting to transport you to another dimension. Besides all this you'll be able to take the Pup Quest, solving riddles and learning about the OTTERs of OTTOPIA as you train up to become an OTTER Pup yourself. If this wasn't enough, there will also be the Champion spOTTER Quest that will take you on a tour of Sparks itself, hunting down black and white striped British wildlife who have escaped OTTOPIA.
Please Note: The installation may not be suitable for those with photo-sensitive epilepsy due to high contrast black and white visuals and moving images. Please feel free to contact us prior to the event if you have any concerns.
Lutra Lutra look forward to welcoming you to OTTOPIA very soon!
