See event details

A gig held at Rough Trade Bristol on Friday 16th May. The event starts at 20:30.

Our fieriest lineup to date!! Do not miss this awesome night of badass queer bands and our resident drag queen host!

TELGATE
With a duty to start riots in 6” platforms, expect fierce androgyny along with in-your-face performances and music which is unapologetically queer, loud and honest from Aggro-Glam band, TELGATE. Their major musical influences from psychedelia, glam rock, post punk and riot-grrrl mix together to create a dramatic experience catered towards the eccentrics and the glamorous. Paint your lips red and prepare to fall in lust with the queerest side of rock and roll.

THE FREAKSHOW
Their musical palate is all round such a modern, forward thinking punk interpretation of folk and Americana music that manifests as one part outrageous, fast and loose confrontation, and one part tender, joyous melancholia. If St. Trinians had a band (EVEN THO THEY DO), it would probably look a bit like this. No matter their traditions or their background THE FREAKSHOW carry with them such an infectious collectivist spirit. Sometimes it even goes past that, they feel like they are a family, welcoming to all and utterly acceptant. That is what The Freakshow is all about. -Ewan Bissell

GHOLA
Queer Bristol post punk metal trio creating catharsis and connection through tribal noise ffo: Killing Joke, Godflesh

AFTER SHOCK
After Shock has been bouncing around the Bristol music scene for fifteen years. After taking a break from music they became Bristol's vocal drag powerhouse in 2021 and since then have become a staple in the scene as a host & producer. Colloquially known as 'The Body of Bristol', if their signature live vocals don't do it for you, their arse certainly will.

Rough Trade Bristol won't know what hit it!!!

Entry requirements: 14+
