event
held at The Room Above
on Thursday 18th July. The event starts at 19:30.
Alfie Dundas is a 24-year old London-based rising comic who engages audiences with a blend of self-deprecating humour and sharp observations on family, identity, and societal nuances. He has won a number of new act competitions and performed at iconic venues across the UK, LA and New York.
Burt Williamson is a stand-up comedian, improviser and comedy producer based in Bristol. He’s had two critically acclaimed runs at the Edinburgh Fringe while also having self produced his debut comedy hour 200 IQ Audience Only (No Munters) which is available on YouTube. At once silly and serious, smart and stupid Burt packs dense punchlines with know-it-all smarm and goofy charm to hilarious effect. At the forefront of a new and exciting generation of comics emerging from Bristol, Burt leads the charge on a new wave of talent in British comedy.
Come watch them at this exciting double bill of two work in progress shows on the cusp of the Edinburgh Fringe, as two mostly finished (hopefully) shows are performed for your enjoyement.
Beat the Frog at the Frog and Bucket Manchester (winner); Backyard Comedy Club Knockout (winner); Beat the Blackout (winner); King Gong at the Comedy Store (runner-up); Stand-Up for Cider (finals); SYTYF? 2023 (semi-finals); Leicester Square Theatre’s New Comedian of the Year 2023 (semi-finals).
