Welcome to the Butchiversary! Celebrate one year of Bristol Butch Bar with chaotic drag performances, drag open mic, and a drag disco.
*Dress to perplex*
We want your weirdest drag persona to come to this night. The event will include an opportunity to makeup, fakeup, and wake-up your inner drag Monarch.
*Drag open mic*
If you want to perform at the drag open mic, email [email protected]. Whatever that looks like- lip sync, poetry, performance art, baby it's all welcome. First time acts STRONGLY ENCOURAGED.
*All queers welcome*
You do not have to be butch to attend. This event is for the whole queer community- friends, family, and any who appreciate butchness are all invited. If you think this space might be right for you, IT IS FOR YOU!
Tickets are pay what you can from £5. If you are low/no income and can't afford it, please get in touch with us at [email protected]. No one will be turned away through lack of funds.

Safer Spaces
As a group, Bristol Butch Bar is about creating solidarity & community, holding butches & their GNC & trans histories. Our rule is that everyone at our events or in our online spaces must be kind & respectful.
We will have designated "Dadmins" at this event to help with any questions and hold space. If you feel unsafe or uncomfortable, come and find a Dadmin wearing a pink armband. We will listen to you and we will believe you.
