The Spotlight highlights the spontaneous comedy of improvised theatre and proudly showcases the diverse skills of local troupes and artists within our community.

Doors at 7pm. Show starts at 7.30pm.
Tickets are Pay What You Can with a minimum of £8.

This month under the Spotlight we have The Groundhogs and a brand new show from veterans Real Positive Poles: Storm Compass.

*The Groundhogs*

The Groundhogs are a coterie of improvisers who will take a single since, and explore every wacky way it could have played out. They have performed all over the UK and will one day fulfil their goal of performing on the moon.

*Storm Compass*

Love. Hope. Fear. Etc.

Some things will always guide us. Ideas that have been with us as long as there have been stories. They guide us like lights in the dark. Like a compass in the storm.

Award winning improvisers Real Positive Poles present a series interconnected of stories, scattered back and forward in time. From The Regency years through to post-apocalyptic wastelands and everything in between.

Inspired by such time spanning novels as Cloud Atlas and Sea of Tranquillity but with no prior knowledge required.

Real Positive Poles are the creators of After Dusk: The Improvised Twilight Zone. Winner of The Brighton Seagull’s Best Improvised Show award and top 3 shortlisted for the Best Show in all categories by The Reviews Hub at the Brighton Fringe 2022.
