This wash bag making workshop at Prior Shop is just what you need.
In this three hour experience you’ll learn how to make a beautiful and functional washbag, complete with outer pockets, waterproof lining and a zip closure. Fancy!
Once you’ve completed the workshop you’ll be able to take your wash bag home to use. (Or gift to a lucky loved one!) You’ll be provided with a pattern along with detailed instructions on how to sew your bag. Lauren will guide you through the whole process, providing plenty of tips and tricks on sewing techniques for future projects. You can even take your pattern home with you to use again! Interfacing, zippers and lining fabric will be provided, along with a variety of thread colours (bring your own if you like).

About Lauren Holloway:
Designer and Maker Lauren Holloway has been running her own slow-fashion handbag and accessory brand since 2013. Lauren specialises in making sustainable bags, purses, laptop cases and toiletry storage, all handcrafted in her Bristol-based studio. She has extensive knowledge and experience in designing patterns and sewing anything from coin purses to backpacks. Lauren offers a range of sewing workshops from beginner to intermediate level, where participants can learn the basics of using a domestic sewing machine, brush up on existing sewing skills or develop new techniques to improve their craft. You’ll leave the workshop with new-found knowledge and inspiration for future projects plus you’ll take home a beautiful handmade bag you can enjoy for years to come.
