A
event
on Sunday 24th November. The event starts at 18:30.
You might feel like your style has changed recently and the clothes you currently have no longer work? You might feel overwhelmed by the amount of clothes you have that you no longer wear? Well, Picnic Studio is presenting the clothes swap event of the year where you can donate the things you loved to the queer community that you also love ❤ There will be snacks, music and all round good vibes and good people - we can’t wait to see you there!
On the day, feel free to bring things you no longer use. We'll put everything on racks and we’ll go through all the items one by one so everyone gets a chance to see and try everything they want. Anything that is left at the end the night can either go back to its original owner, be kept for the next event or we can donate it to a charity shop. Also, you don't need to bring anything! You can just come and collect new treasures ☠️
Please make sure you the things you bring are cleaned/washed.
Some ideas :
- Unwanted things you got as gifts (we've all been there)
- Clothes
- Shoes
- Hats
- Bags
- Costumes
- Make up (good condition please)
- Books
- Little objects, mugs, whatever you could find in a charity shop
- Art supplies
- Literally anything that could make someone else happy
Some rules (please read them before!!)
- Make sure the items you bring are clean
- We don’t tolerate ANY comments towards someone’s size, style, body and gender. If something doesn’t fit you or isn’t your style, don’t say something that could offend the person who kindly brought the item.
- Same thing with books, CDs etc. Even if you hate the book / don’t agree with it, someone else might like it ❤
- If more than one person wants the same item, it will go to the one who has collected the less amount of treasures throughout the evening so it’s fair for everyone
- Basically be a nice human
ANY STYLE WELCOME
ANY SIZE WELCOME
ANYONE IS WELCOME
The event will be held in Picnic Studio - Hamilton House (80 Stokes Croft, St Paul's, Bristol BS1 3QY) beginning at 6:30pm
