Fun It Up proudly presents our first Bristol Reggae Weekender! Friday 3rd & Saturday 4th March 2023.

We are thrilled to have assembled this lineup of selectors from around the globe, for a party that is going to be unforgettable. There are Reggae heads travelling to our beloved city of Bristol from all over Europe to get their spot on the dancefloor at the party of the year. We have worked hard to secure the perfect venue for the weekender; The old Market Assembly is a beautiful historic building, that is truly unique. Set over 2 floors with a large dancefloor, & ornate dome ceiling. Its located in the heart of the city, & easily accessible via public transport or Taxi, with lots of cool bars and restaurants within a short distance.

Friday Night Lineup:
The Rhythm Ruler (Maratone Hifi, Berlin, Germany)
Cello (Coast To Coast, London, UK)
Rixti RGS (Reggae Beat Weekender, Donostia, Spain)
Simon Cobb (Work Your Soul, Luton, UK)

Saturday Night Lineup:
Adam 'Wake The Town' (Wake The Town Radio, San Francisco, USA)
Asher G (The Rocksteady Daddy, London, UK)
Simon Tipper (Hidden Treasures, Birmingham, UK)
Slogs & Miss Vera Cruz (Fun It Up, Bristol, UK)

Both nights run from 10pm through Til' 3am. Plus there will be a special Saturday evening warm up hosted by our friends in the Jackpot Reggae Club at the best bar in Bristol (The Elmers Arms).
Weekend Tickets are £20, Your ticket gives you entry to both nights, Friday 4th March & Saturday 5th March 2023. Upon arrival you will be given your wristband, plus a fun it up welcome pack. We kindly ask for payment via paypal as “Friends & Family” to: [email protected]. Please get in touch via email or facebook with any questions.

We are currently trying to secure a discount price, with some local hotels. Bristol is full of some great Air B'N'B's, & alternative accomodation if you are looking for something a bit different. The venue is in the old market area of Bristol, which is a short walk to the city's main train station 'Bristol Temple Meads', and is within easy walking distance of the city centre, where there are plenty of transport links. Bristol airport is fairly modern and well established, & only 20 minutes bus journey from the city. Some may prefer to fly to London which is also easily travelled, however takes in the region of 2-3 hours via coach, or 90 mins by train. Feel free to contact us if you have any queries regarding travel/accomodation.

We are extremely proud of our city, and we hope you all enjoy your time in the Bristol There is lots to see and do with your time here, a beautiful harbourside, great food & drink culture, Vibrant music scene, & good vibes, plus loads of street art. We are happy to recommend places/things to check out while you are here, including one of the UK's top record shops (Wanted Records)
