Since opening its doors to the public in 2006, Motion's rise to prominence has been relentless.

Set in a former skate park, Motion's layout is spread across five key areas including a cavernous main room with two smaller adjacent dancefloors, multiple bars, courtyard smoking area and even an outdoor riverside terrace. With a huge main room, Motion is one of the few venues that can cater for the bulging production requirements that come with artists like Groove Armada, Modeselektor and Green Velvet.

Autumn 2011 sees the Bristol In:Motion series return for it's second year. Organised in association with some of Bristol's biggest promoters including Just Jack, Run, Subloaded and Shit The Bed, the nights also welcome internationally renowned programmers such as Annie Mac presents, Cocoon, FWD+Rinse, Bloc, Bugged Out and more. — Read more — Read less
