THEME ️
*********
Our theme this September is Snacks. Stories about food, meals and special treats. Food is an essential part of everyday life, and can be routine, special, frivolous or sacred. We welcome true stories all aspects of food. Stories about popcorn at the cinema, ice cream on a summers day, or mint cake at the north pole. Snacks eaten with family, friends or enemies. Snacks at parties, snacks at church or snacks at the funeral. Putting on a spread, going to an all you can eat buffet, and getting ill from food poisoning. Have you got a story about snacks? Then come tell us at our special event in Millennium Square on September 28th.

CONTENT WARNINGS ⚠️
*********
In the interest of making the Story Slam a safe and comfortable place to be, storytellers are able to attach content warnings to their stories, to warn of any sensitive or distressing topics. Details of how to do this will be explained on the day. Content warnings are read out before each story to give people a chance to leave the room if they so wish.
