National Food Service Bristol - Post BT meal at Malcolm X
See event details

A event on Sunday 15th May. The event starts at 18:30.

National Food Service Bristol is back again to close Bristol Transformed Festival 2022! Join us around the dinner table with friends new and old. This is an opportunity to reflect on what you learned at the festival, what inspired you and what you’re excited to do next with the skills and knowledge you’ve gained over the weekend.

NFS Bristol is a branch of the National Food Service network, working to create community spaces where food is freely offered as a public service. Our vision is a world free from food insecurity, social inequality, social isolation and food waste. All funds from this meal go directly towards helping us run our existing social eating project in Lockleaze and hopefully starting a new one soon.

Doors open at 18:15. Dinner will be served at 18:30.

Menu:
Main - curried 'gurt' (vegan curried goat), ital stew, rice'n'peas, mac & cheese, and caribbean greens
Dessert - jamaican ginger cake served with rum & raisin ice cream (or vanilla ice cream)
