SOMNAMBULA presents a night of cutting-edge electro and bass rhythms with Radioactive Man, Ben Pest and residents Berwick & YouYou. SOMNAMBULA heads to Lost Horizon inviting two cornerstones of electro to take you into another dimension with their oscillating basslines, powerful kicks and five-dimensional pads. SOMNAMBULA will focus on live performances and the significance of signals & sound, as it hosts two exciting live shows from Radioactive Man & Berwick with explorative and boundary-pushing DJ sets from Ben Pest & YouYou full of acid, raw squelch and breaks.
We warmly welcome Radioactive Man for our first SOMNAMBULA party at Lost Horizon. Known for his cutting-edge electro and timeless bass sequences, Keith Tenniswood aka Radioactive Man has firmly cut his groove into the electronic music scene. Keith has been pioneering innovative and impactful electro sounds for 30 years with his early work combining forces with Andrew Weatherall to create ‘Two Lone Swordsmen’ to founding ‘Control Tower Records’ alongside The Dexorcist. With a new album soon to be released, we are excited to hear what Radioactive Man and his machines have in store for us.

With a serious catalogue of releases, Ben Pest’s selection is the perfect combination of tactical, thoughtful, playful and weighty. Ben Pest’s dynamic selection mixed with his masterful expertise means that when he steps into a booth, everyone knows about it. As well as his solo releases, Ben Pest has collaborated with some true trailblazers in electronic music including Radioactive Man and IMOGEN. We are delighted to welcome him for a night of high-voltage energy at Lost Horizon.
SOMNAMBULA will be hosting another live performance from resident and co-founder Berwick who is bringing his machines down for an hour of bass-focused electro. After a run of live shows including warming up for Eris Drew at Westival and his live set at Madruga Festival, Berwick’s blade is sharp for the September showcase in Bristol. Berwick has released music on Soma Records sister label AVOIDANT alongside DJ T-1000, Kerrie and Bloodymary as well as his single Flesk Flora on More Cowbell and an EP on Bristol based SSS. Keep your eyes peeled for his new single coming out on Pressure Dome very soon.
Co-founder and resident YouYou is bringing her extensive collection down to Lost Horizon for the debut SOMNAMBULA night. YouYou is known for her precise mixes and forward-thinking selection as she opens the event for us on the 26th of September. YouYou has been progressively forging her sound with sets across London, Bristol & Sheffield in venues and festivals such as MOT, Dalston Den, Westival, Southbank Warehouse and Little People. YouYou’s breadth of sound is a perfect blend and balance as she twists through bass, IDM, electro, acid and plenty that falls between the cracks, weaving an intricate journey between genres.
