A clubnight held at Lost Horizon on Saturday 8th March. The event starts at 20:00.


The evening will start with a Women in Music Talk Q&A, discussing the challenges we encounter as women in the music industry before we bring out the tunes and celebrate with 2 hour takesovers from some of the best to do it. In collaboration with Bristol women’s rights charity: Bristol Women’s Voice.

Katie Novo’s DJ sets fuse Jazz, Broken Beat, Latin, Soul, Afrobeat, Funk, House, and Boogie — a sound that has been nurtured over a 30-year journey of musical discovery. For Katie, DJing is a celebration of community, connection, and the power of music to unite. Whether she’s curating her monthly Friday night mix on Brighton’s 1BTN or hosting her weekly Breakfast show on Noods Radio, where she champions local talent and community initiatives, Katie is deeply committed to the art of sharing music in a way that uplifts and inspires.

- GAROËSS, a British-Namibian-Indian DJ and Artist, thrives on her passion for multi-genre music! Born and raised in Bradford, a vibrant northern city, she found inspiration in her sister's R'n'B tunes, the energetic atmosphere of local Bashment clubs, the rawness of Grime, and the Niche and Bassline CDs that were sold in the school playground. Embarking on her DJ journey in 2021, GAROËSS has since been infusing a dynamic array of Afro-diasporic beats into her sets, currently influenced by the growing landscape of percussive, global bass sounds in the UK beyond! Over the past few years, GAROËSS has performed for collectives and labels such as Club Djembe, Livity Sound, Keep Hush, and RepresentAsian. As a proud member of Booty Bass, she brings her unique flair to the dancefloor, uniting audiences with her passion for music and bringing some serious spice to the dancefloor!

- NGAIO
Founder of Booty Bass, and one of the most exciting musical voices to come out of Bristol, NGAIO has been part of the city's music scene for decades as a raver, vocalist, performer and DJ. Blending genres that have influenced her musical journey you'll hear afrobeats, afrohouse, percussive and Tribal music reflecting her Nigerian ancestry. Latin, reggaeton, moombahton and carnival sounds from her time in South America and naughties edits, dubstep, Grime and Drum & Bass as a long term lover of rave with some jazzy elements and extra bassy bits chucked in for extra flair.
Expect to hear things you don't expect and leave dripping with sweat. Her eclectic sets make it exceptionally hard to leave the dance floor.

- THAI CHI ROSÈ
Thai Chi Rosè is a British-Jamaican Singer, Rapper, MC and Songwriter, known for her sultry vocals and creative word play. As well as being an artist in her own right, Thai Chi Rosè can also be found MCing and hosting dances with her playful energy.The energy displayed by Thai Chi Rosè is unmatched as those who have attended any of the Events Thai chi Rosè has performed at will surely attest to.

Finally, closing the night, we have Femmes on Decks, female-led DJ collective based in Bristol! The Bangers will be spun for you by the amazing.
- DJ Fly Fox
Hailing from the vibrant beatscape of Bristol and a true slave to the rhythm, Fly Fox has been a regular host on renowned online radio stations such as Noods Radio, the Dawn State Records show on SWU.FM and Crate Digs. Her style is diverse and eclectic - drawing inspiration from the 90's rave scene, exploring house and techno dripping in 303 acid, those deep grooves from Detroit, and the classic disco and soul inspired electronic scene in Chicago. Fly Fox takes you on a playful journey through genres, blending cultural sounds of soulful music from all around the world.

- Pammy
Pammy’s sets and radio shows are a mix of sub weighty underground sounds that are underpinned by a gigantic love for underground house and techno. She’s at her best exploring the sweet spot between gritty underground sounds and techno past and present.
After a busy 2024 where she opened the main stage at Love Saves The Day, stepped up Shambala, Love International, Croatia and played at cult synth fest, Bristronica. She can also be found spinning tunes at Bristol stalwarts The Star and Garter, The Pipe and Slippers, The Gallimaufry, plus pop-up parties. Pammy is also a proud member of the Femmes on Decks community and part of the wider Saffron Music family.
