held at Lost Horizon
on Saturday 15th March. The event starts at 23:00.
Stamp On ‘Em is back with another belter… FRUITCAKES AND CRACKPOTS!!!!!
This is a dance for the divvies. A knees up for the nutjobs. Everyone’s aloud to let loose once in a while. No judgement. All are welcome and everyone is involved. Get down to Lost Horizon on the 15th March for a proper peculiar party powered by the one and only Loose Sound.
Loose genre list:
Jungle Hardcore, Dubstep, Hard Drum and miscellaneous percussive rammers, Ska, Hip-Hop, Rave Beats and Cornish Rap.
All the years I've yondered and pondered has led to this lineup. A particular selection of comedic acts, interactive shows and quality music. I can't wait to see it play out!
Fruitcakes and Crackpots is a safe place for everyone to be themselves, no matter who you are or what you do.
If at any point you feel uncomfortable, please let a member of the crew or Lost Horizon staff know and we will sort it out.
There is absolutely no tolerance of offensive or abusive behaviour and any mention will be dealt with accordingly.
Lineup as follows...
Dogs Don't Die:
This group of dashing young gentlemen are here to deliver the finest setlist you've ever experienced. Dogs Don't Die, a 4 piece band (with some surprises on the way) have agreed to drop their usual emo cry-wank act to supply a show full of joyous ups and downs. Showing off their musical capabilities, covering everything from Slick Rick to Steely Dan, these lads will have your jaws on the floor!
Woody Cook:
Certified Fruitcake, the energy from this man is infectious. From certified rave beats to sh*t you’ve never heard. His lively sets could put a Jack Russel to shame, and he’ll have you bouncing off the walls like a toddler in a sweet shop. Crackpots quiver at his presence.
Joeti b2b Sojebeats:
These two are a lethal mixture when paired together, a serious DJ duo. Exploring all sorts of Latin rhythms, and absolutely rinsing them in heavy percussion. their sets are as lively as Joeti's barnet. If you haven't seen these in Bristol before you're seriously missing out, absolute wizardry together!
Jett:
Jetts is a belter and a dear friend of Stamp On 'Em. He'll be starting off with some jungle hardcore, but who knows where he'll end up? Probably denying requests at the afters at 7 in the morning. Seriously though, this fella knows his stuff, and will have you bouncing about like puppets on a string. packing a special surprise to kick his set off.
Hedluv and Passman:
Cornish Rap excellence, these guys are the epitome of fruitcakes and crackpots. I've seen these perform more times than I could count, serious veterans and pioneers of their field. I haven't seen them fail to put the whole room in stitches. Guaranteed giggles.
Leo Hull:
Another dear friend of Stamp On Em blessing the stage. This man knows his way round brass better than a coppersmith. He’ll be spitting pure trumpet loveliness over some rootsy dub records, easing you into the chaos with some lighthearted ska rhythms.
Alongside the live interactive performances and the DJs dishing out pure nonsense are all sorts of bits and bobs happening around the venue. Look out for the bounty hunters, medieval peasants and our very own 80s fitness instructor.
As always, if it all gets a bit too much for you there will be plenty of space to have a breather and chill out. We want everyone to feel welcome to get stuck in, but there’s absolutely no pressure if you want to enjoy the show from afar x
