Time flies when you're lost in the music, and we’re beyond excited to celebrate The Prog Lab’s 7th birthday with an unforgettable night of progressive house mastery. For this milestone event, we knew we had to go big—so bringing back the one and only Guy J was the only option. If you’ve witnessed his past sets with us, you know exactly why. His last appearance in June was nothing short of legendary, and his first post-COVID event with us in March 2023 was an emotional and electrifying reunion on the dancefloor. This May, Guy J returns to The Loco Klub, delivering his signature deep, melodic sound under the club’s stunning stone archways, powered by an L’Acoustics sound system and our mesmerizing light production.

Guy J has always been a central figure in progressive house, and with the recent launch of his new label Early Morning, he is entering a fresh, exciting chapter after closing the doors on his iconic Lost & Found imprint. Expect a set filled with emotional depth, hypnotic rhythms, and those signature moments of euphoria that make his performances unmissable.

But that’s not all. Redfreya joins us for this special occasion, bringing her dynamic, deep, and atmospheric soundscapes to The Prog Lab for the first time. A rapidly rising star in the progressive house scene, Redfreya has been making waves across Europe, recently hosting Room 2 at Guy J’s ‘We Are Lost’ at The Cause in London, playing alongside heavyweights like Patrice Baumel, Chicola, Eli Nissan, and Motip White. With frequent appearances alongside Nick Warren, John Digweed, Dave Seaman, and the Selador family, her sets are known for their emotional depth and journey-like storytelling. Her recent Balance Series mix has been turning heads, and with festival appearances lined up across the world, she’s fast becoming one of the most exciting names in the scene.

Redfreya’s music is all about connection—her classical training merges seamlessly with modern electronic influences, creating soundscapes that are both nostalgic and forward-thinking. With performances at ADE, Mayan Warrior, Selador, and Anjunadeep showcases, she’s proving to be an unstoppable force, and her upcoming releases in 2025 are set to solidify her place among the genre’s best.

Of course, no Prog Lab event would be complete without our residents, The Prog Lab DJs (George & Tomas), setting the tone for the night with one of their carefully crafted opening sets, blending deep, rolling grooves with the signature Prog Lab melodic energy. Our trusted warm-up specialist, Matt Bird, will also be on hand to open the night in true style, easing us in before the journey unfolds.
