Colourful, sexy and downright funky, the body popping master Freakenstein, is one of the many faces of Tristan Da Cunha - who over the last 25 years has firmly established himself as one of the most versatile DJs and exciting artists around.
A Freakenstein set is nothing short of nicesty - a vibrant combination of nice & nasty electronic music - poised to get those bodies grooving.
We are gassed to bring Freaky back to Bristol to showcase his beloved style of Ghetto tech breaks, Funky Bass & electro driving house beats inside the underground tunnels of the Loco Klub. A household name among festivals & residencies at Glastonbury’s legendary Block9, Gottwood, Houghton, Love International & Dimensions in Croatia, Amsterdam’s Slapfunk parties and the clubbing institution BacktoBasics with his ongoing 23 year long residency.
DJ Mell G is making waves within the European Electro circuit. The Hamburg-based DJ, producer and founder of the label JUICY GANG RECORDS has found her sound in the shades of electro, breakbeat, & techno, mutating these textures to form her own surgically precise signature.
Recent tours of Asia and Australia have lead to DJing in OIL Club, VENT, and
Strawberry Fields, alongside bookings in Tresor, FOLD, Razzmatazz, Phonox, Blitz, Poing, KABUL á Gogo, and Sonár Istanbul - just to name a few. A string of career-defining B2Bs with Helena Hauff at MELT festival, DJ Stingray 313 at Paradise Garden and Interstellar Funk are just a handful of highlights in her trajectory so far.
The Loco Klub is a venue for all, it prides itself on it's inclusivity for all, to wear what you want, be who you want and dance how you want.
