Conqueer’s annual fashion show recurs on May 19th, 2023. Come, ye bodies scattered and scathed, ye seen as soden with gender so silly, to the stone-sunken sub-terain that be Loco Klub. Here, we prepare for battle.
We usher thee in, to our haven from the rampage on trans identity. 10 LGBTQ+ fashion-designers-non-london-based, wielded and weld between battlements of live art, performance and set design, will amalgamate in a communal blitz of grass-roots resistance against the confinements of crumbling fascism.
Deep beneath the earth, helmeted and sharpened, we reclaim our queer extremity and alternativity from the punitive and capitalised artistic-no-mans-land lay yonder cross the path of any creative wondering from cis-het-hood. Bloodshed be soon ‘round the corner bend, but with arms up-taken, ours need not be the blood that drips.
