*** MC TOP CAT ***
Top Cat is one of the UK's most accomplished MC's, having recorded his first record in 1988 called Love Mi Sess, earning a no1 in the UK reggae charts in February 1989 and being awarded Record of the Year at the Entertainment Enterprise Awards. He then went on to be a stalwart on the UK's no 1 dancehall soundsystem Sir Coxsone sound alongside Daddy Freddy, Ricky Tuffy, Prento Youth and Tenor Fly. With the decline of live MC's on soundsystems Top Cat returned to recording by joining Fashion Records where he scored big hits with"Gallist/Sess Weh U Want" "Request the Style" and also"Push Up U Lighter" for then Fashion Records engineer Gussie P. After a successful spell at Fashion Records Top Cat formed his own label 9 Lives Records utilizing the studio he first started his career at with co producer Joe Grine at Stone Wall Studio. His own productions were the biggest reggae tunes released for 1994 with"Over U Body" and"Wine Up U Body" all topping the reggae charts while simultaneously scoring number 1's in the UK jungle charts with"Push Up U Lighter/Sweet Vibration" and"Champion DJ", the only MC to ever do this. With 2 album releases on his label 9 Lives Records (9 Lives of the Cat and Catonine Tales) Top Cat proved himself to be a major player in the UK urban music scene.
General Levy : General Levy, real veteran of the UK urban music scene, grew up influenced by reggae music and black culture. Thanks to his older brother, huge music fan, Paul was enabled to build up a consistent musical culture: from ska to rock steady, calypso to soul music, hip-hop to reggae music. Quickly, he went on writing his own lyrics and created his first sound system, 'Third Dimension', along with friends.
That's in solo and at the age of 19 that General obtains an international recognition, awarded with several prizes: best reggae album, best single for'Heat', and UK premiere MC.
Then his song'Incredible', a world success achieving top ten status in the national mainstream charts, is synchronized in the movies'Ali G Indahouse' and'Seuls Two'.
From the Garance Reggae Festival to the Summer Jam and also the Reggae Sun Ska to the Realbeat Reggae Festival, all have been conquered by the extraordinary live talent of the performer.
His studio collaborations are not less impressive : Capleton and Sly & Robbie and Danakil and Desmond Dekker.
For his new album, General Levy chose to work with several musicians in order to make an eclectic and successful release, between funk, hip hop, jungle and reggae music. 'We progressive' counts on the collaboration of original and committed artists such as Balik (Danakil), Big Red (Raggasonic) and Papa Style & Baldas.

Kenny Ken : Kenny Ken is a household name in the world of Jungle/Drum and Bass. He started playing music way back in 89 and has seen the music change year after year. House and Techno was his style back then but still listens to house music today.
Kenny's achievements in the music scene are too many to mention. Winning the Jungle Soundclash back in 94 is the one that a lot of people remember and still talk about to this day. He's played for almost all the big Rave organizations over the years and still enjoys playing music to the masses. He was resident DJ with the Legendary AWOL and World Dance and is now resident with Raindance.
Nowadays Kenny is still playing all over the world and spreading the Jungle vibe. He's also in the studio a lot and runs two record labels. Mix and Blen recordings started back in 97 and Monitor recordings was re launched in 2008.

One of the brightest lights of the roots-influenced underground community for the past half-decade, Poland born Mateusz Miller has pioneered a compelling and unique fusion of sounds that encompass dub, reggae and dubstep under his Radikal Guru moniker. Inspired by an appreciation of soundsystem culture, his music has become synonymous with suffocating degrees of dread bassweight, vibrant and eclectic palettes of tone, and varying energy levels that cater for both dancefloor focussed ruckus and for more meditative listening. Heavily influenced by the likes of King Tubby and Scientist, Matt first gained worldwide acclaim and recognition through a string of killer vinyl releases on leading reggae/dubstep imprint Dubbed Out, before forming a creative partnership with fellow label Moonshine Recordings where he has gone on to cement his reputation as one of the strongest proponents of the scene. His Moonshine discography boasts highlights that include his debut LP'The Rootstepa' and the mighty'Dread Commandments' 12', and keep an eye out for some seriously exciting developments in the pipeline including the release of his second album. Not only a talented producer, Matt is also a fine selector, conveying his passion for music through DJ sets that pay homage to the sound and culture's rich history as much as they showcase the freshest cuts of sonic innovation from himself and his contemporaries. He has hit spots all around the world to assault soundsystems with bass-fuelled beats and positive vibes, including recent gigs with vocal collaborator Cian Finn at the legendary Subdub and Tokyo Dub events, as well as trips as far afield as Moscow and Johannesburg. One of the new generation of the global soundsystem culture, Gardna is flying the flag from Bristol for positivity, fun and freedom. Surfing on a wave of sub bass and Reggae hooks, he is bringing fresh vibes to the centre stage.
He has shelled it down at some of the biggest events in Europe with highlights being Outlook Festival, Boomtown Fair and Tokyo Dub. His music is a combination of styles that are born from sound system culture. He works with a variety of producers, from fellow Bristol resident Dr Meaker to Polish Reggae/Dancehall don Dreadsquad, and writes sharp, conscious lyrics with an infectious, melodic flow.
Aside from his ambitions as a songwriter and solo performer, Gardna takes centre stage as host for headline DJ sets, being a favourite for Aries, RackNRuin, Riddim Tuffa and Jinx in Dub.

Producing tunes alongside friends Aries & Stivs He has recorded and remixed artists like David Boomah, Navigator Mc, Solo Banton, Jam Baxter, Dabbla, Parly B, The Drop, Bahia, Lion Art, Buggsy, Serocee, & Gardna. He has current big hits on BBL, Necessary Bass, Chopstick Dubplate, Joker Records and Subslayers, and a new label project Born on Road Kelvin has established himself as one of the most exciting prospects on the southwest scene right now.
