To mark the end of their two-year ‘Space to Dream’ project, youth-led CIC, Rising Arts Agency is hosting an exhibition of artwork made by their community of young creatives. For 10 days, the ‘Space to Dream’ exhibition will take over Jamaica Street Studio’s KIT FORM to celebrate the boundless nature of grassroots creativity, and provide a space for artists and audiences alike to dream BIG.

Rising Arts Agency’s ‘Space to Dream’ project was a 2 year project funded by Freelands Foundation. The project sought to support young creatives to meaningfully take up space in the creative sector with commissioning and leadership opportunities and time and space to come together.
The ‘Space to Dream’ exhibition will be open to the public from Thursday 6th (launch) February until Saturday 15th February, platforming the new work of two young artists, Abbi Bayliss and Sinag Yuson, and the six creatives who received Rising Arts Agency’s inaugural round of funding through the Rising Fund last year. This will also be the first time that the Rising team will work together to put on a collaborative piece to exhibit at the exhibition alongside their community.
ABOUT THE LAUNCH EVENT:
The launch will be a relaxed evening to have the first look at the exhibition, featuring an opening ceremony activation by Martin Viktov. We invite you to celebrate the incredible work from artists in our community, and enjoy a samosa with us.
This is a free event, but we ask that you RSVP by getting a ticket, to help us manage numbers and get enough snacks!
