Wednesday 9th April
Blick Bassy
+ LUNDA
The Jam Jar, Bristol
Doors Open 7.30pm
An Indie-pop and afro-soul sounds enthusiast deeply rooted in the African continent, Blick Bassy is a force of nature, known for his vibrant live performances.
On his latest album Mádibá, which came out in Spring 2023, Blick Bassy has chosen to address the environment, particularly the burning issue of water. At the confluence of several living sources, navigating between Africa and the West, Blick Bassy’s music – for which he mainly uses Bassa, its mother tongue – is distinguished by its mix as much as by its density. Tending towards the essential, it reaches a high emotional level.
LUNDA
LUNDA delivers music that promises to ignite a fire in your soul, best described as an alternative indie sound. This is the fresh new feeling of indie-rock music. Soulful, captivating & powerful. That is what an audience can expect from the deeply artistic French-Congolese singer.

At the core of who LUNDA is, she is a mother whose daughter serves as her muse through the composition of songs and as her passion and drive to share music and inspire
