A gig held at The Jam Jar on Wednesday 18th December. The event starts at 19:30.

Join us for an evening where plants and music come alive together! Botanical Soundscapes invites you to an enchanting evening, where we will be utilising technology that explores the musical potential of plants!

We’re excited to be back in full swing for a truly special event featuring an interactive sonic art installation that triggers music through the touch of plants. Using sensors, speakers and electrodes to translate the electrical signals from plants into soundwaves, we invite you to immerse yourself and create music through plant touch.

The evening will be packed full of live plant music performances! Kicking off with a careful selection of ambient, plant-based records before a one-of-a-kind set from Moral Fibre, who will be playing the cactus live to generate some mesmerising ambient tunes.

To top it all off the night will continue with a live performance from Trans-Siberian Express, Bristol own Pioneers of Schwank Splurge Pop. For this special performance, the band will be swapping out some of their instruments for living greenery, blending experimental soundscapes with their signature energy.

We can’t wait to share thisunforgettable celebration of music and plants And hope to spark a deeper appreciation of our planet by reminding you of the beauty and intelligence of the natural world.
