Due to popular demand we a thrilled to add this extra afternoon matinee show!

Esteemed spoken word artist Joshua Idehen and innovative producer Ludvig Parment are set to tour the UK with their acclaimed new EP, Mum Does the Washing.

Known for fusing deeply personal, evocative poetry with entrancing indie-dance rhythms, Idehen and Parment have crafted a live performance that is equal parts rave and (secular) sermon—a show that, according to Louder Than War, is “an experience everyone needs to witness.”

The title track of Mum Does the Washing has been turning heads across the music industry, earning high praise from major tastemakers, including Jamz Supernova and Huw Stephens (BBC Radio 6), Nick Grimshaw, (BBC Radio 1), and even pop icon Robbie Williams. The EP has become a sensation among critics, further cementing Idehen and Parment as powerful voices in the UK’s indie music scene.

Shanaz Dorsett

Shanaz Dorsett is a singer-songwriter based in South London. A bold storyteller, her music is borne from a curiosity for human conversation. Inspired by chats eavesdropped on the tube, her Turkish and Caribbean aunties gossiping and memories from her adolescence in Houston,
Texas, her sound stems from her belief that even our most everyday stories deserve to be retold. New material blends her signature witty lyricism with bold hip-hop production by Amarah (Earthgang, Smino) and can be placed beside artists such as Sampha and Jamila Woods as work that cuts to the heart of human experiences. Shanaz has opened for Kelis at a sold out Jazz Cafe show and her music has received sync placement on BBC comedy
drama ‘Boarders’, 90 Day Fiance Australia and as soundtrack to the
2021 UK tennis championships. Also known as one third of dance pop trio Benin City, along with the group, Shanaz has opened for Portugal The Man’s European tour and performed at festivals such as Latitude, SXSW and Iceland Airwaves
