See event details

A gig held at The Jam Jar on Sunday 24th September. The event starts at 20:00.

This show is brought to you by LowKey Bristol:

At long last we are celebrating the debut EP of Zoobers.

Their sound draws influence from Electronica, Jazz, & Classical styles. Weaving together to form catchy melodies, pulsating rhythms, & damn heavy crescendos. The result is a huge sound & wild live show.

The Trio is comprised of Chris Langton, Dorian Childs Prophet, & Harriet Riley. Each member lauded for their work elsewhere (Snazzback, Dundundun & Paraorchestra respectively) staunchly refuse to rest on their laurels.

This will be a great opportunity to catch the band for the hometown leg of their EP launch tour.

Support comes from the incredible Surgeons Girl, & JUSJIM.

Surgeons girl:
From Bristol town, Surgeons girl is a composer making full use of Analogue hardware drawing from influences which lie in both ambient and techno. Expect a meandering journey through the interstellar soundscapes.

JUSJIM:
JUSJIM is the name of James Vine’s new solo project. James has emerged as one of the UK’s most exciting new drummers. Mixing melodic jazz phrases with angular electronic rhythms and the raw energy of punk and metal, James’ rhythmic approach is truly unique. Best known for his work with experimental trio Waldo’s Gift with whom he has received much critical acclaim from tastemakers across BBC 6Music and Radio 1 as well as countless publications including Clash, DIY & more.
