See event details

A gig held at The Jam Jar on Sunday 15th December. The event starts at 19:30.

Fitty Gomash & Friends proudly present: Blowin’ a Hooley – A Christmas Ceilidh.

Christmas simply wouldn't be Christmas without an annual pilgrimage to the Jam Jar in Bristol to join in the joyous yuletide revelry with Fitty Gomash. This sell out event has become a favourite tradition, a chance to dance to the finest Irish and Scottish folk tunes, all with a festive twist.

For over 15 years Fitty Gomash have been delivering barnstorming ceilidhs for folk up and down the land, and the Christmas Ceilidh is a chance to shake your tinsel and baubles with the best of them, delivered with uptempo drive and good time energy.

Come one, come all, come all ye faithful, this is a celebration of the season, a coming together to share in the joys of the finest music, the most uplifting dances, and more good folk than you can shake a turkey baster at.

As in previous years, we will be running a family ceilidh on the Saturday afternoon at 2pm.

Adult Ceilidhs: Saturday & Sunday from 7 PM
Kids' Ceilidh: Saturday from 2-4 PM
Saturday night wraps up by 10 PM.

The events will begin with rowdy carols around the piano. So come in good voice, come dressed in your festive best… and bring your dancing shoes!

Entry requirements: 14+
