See event details

A gig held at The Jam Jar on Sunday 1st December. The event starts at 20:00.

Come down to the Jam Jar for a night of incredible live music from some of Bristol's up and coming musicians.

SOULBEE is shaking up the scene with a sound that's as deep as it is soulful. Their musical journey began leading praise in the Jamaican Apostolic Church, surrounded by the rich echoes of gospel choirs.

Now, they’re blending those roots with the raw energy of Bristol Dub and the smooth grooves of 90s Neo-Soul to create something truly unique: "Bassy, Moody Soul." Get ready to feel it.

Eva Penney - Captivating and at times cutting, Eva Penney has always been honest in her music, constantly treading an uneasy line between metaphor and truth. With a sound inspired by alternative and acoustic folk, the electronic and DIY elements weaved into her recordings and performances create a unique and warming listening experience. Her debut EP was released in April 2023 - a collection of stripped back voice memo recordings, keeping to her ethos of emotional transparency for both herself and her audience.

Aloka Sacki - Bringing her unique blend of Neo Soul, dub and hip hop Alokas Voice is filled with soul and she has been finding her sound performing with a variety of different artists across Bristol and London.

Expect a cozy night of incredible live music.
