event
held at The Jam Jar
on Saturday 12th April. The event starts at 13:00.
We are so excited to be collaborating with The Psychedelic Society for a series of MadStillNess workshops at The Jam Jar this Spring!
MadStillNess is a deep, meditative dance that blends tools from Jungian Psychology, Neuroscience and Tantric practices, like breathwork, yoga, and play to tap out of the mind and drop into the senses of the body.
Like an ecstatic dance, but with trauma-informed bodily integration, allowing the vibrations of ambient soul, deep dub, reggae, funk, Afrobeats and hypnotic bass to guide your movement.

1:00-1:30PM: Breath work + Cacao Meditation

ABOUT PHÖEBE
Phöebe Hares is a trauma-informed psychologist, multidisciplinary artist, and yoga teacher blending Jungian psychology, Tantra, and somatic practice to help people reconnect with their bodies. With a background in trauma recovery and a decade of working with vulnerable communities worldwide, she uses breath, dance, and deep presence to support emotional healing. Featured in film, TV, and major festivals, Phöebe’s work transforms movement into meditation—creating spaces where rhythm, creativity, and self-expression become pathways to freedom.
The Psychedelic Society is a community-driven organization exploring the transformative power of psychedelics, consciousness, and embodied practices. Hosting workshops, talks, and immersive events with leading voices like Bessel van der Kolk and Gabor Maté, they create intentional spaces for deep self-exploration, connection, and healing.
Rooted in science, spirituality, and activism, they advocate for responsible psychedelic use, holistic well-being, and cultural change. Whether through breathwork, dance, or plant medicine ceremonies, The Psychedelic Society invites curiosity, play, and expanded states of awareness.
This is a queer, neurodivergent-friendly space. If you have any specific needs, questions of queries please feel free to email me at [email protected].
