HOLY GUCAMOLE. Following 5 events in our debut year of 2024 we are super excited to present our first SLIPPIN' of 2025 with a three hour journey through DnB with Tony Colman aka Hospital Records founder, 'Fast Soul Music' head honcho, band-leader, producer, advocate for new talent and DnB legend that is LONDON ELEKTRICITY in the intimate and brilliant club that is The Jam Jar.
This special 3 hour set is limited capacity and will be hosted by Ruthless MC, a touring Hospital regular that has also been appearing on stages with LTJ Bukem of late.
We are honoured and very lucky to be able to bring London Elektricity to a venue of this size, as he is on a mission to support and highlight the special qualities and importance of intimate clubs where all of these big names such as Andy C, DJ Marky, High Contrast all started their careers.
Ultimately we can’t just have big 2000 plus capacity venues left, and so the challenges but also the advantages of doing events at and attending smaller clubs need highlighting in 2025, so we can save them and continue to enjoy them. Smaller clubs nearly always offer more vibes, more intimacy with the artists, better sound, better drinks selection, friendlier staff and a more affordable night out after all… this sums up the Jam Jar experience in a nutshell!
Tony is a DnB legend and a sick DJ who has been supporting and releasing DnB music for nearly three decades! We are thankful to him for agreeing to play such a small venue! He is man who (co)started Hospital records no less…

Alongside Tony, we will have a warm up set from SLIPPIN’ residents Ephyra b2b Nathan Worm and a closing set from Chamba. We’ll also have SICK VISUALS from Fraser IN2U throughout the night and of course a most excellent soundsystem, drinks selection and inclusive vibes via the venue, one of the true gems of the Bristol music scene.
Those of you who’ve been to one of our nights last year or been following what we do so far know what the Slippin’ vibe is … more groove, more depth and an alternative to recent trends in DnB!
