See event details

A gig held at The Jam Jar on Friday 28th January. The event starts at 19:00.

Join us for a wavy winter warmer of alt pop, glitched dreams and smooth synths from two of Bristol’s most luscious bands.

Friday 28th January
Stevie Toddler + Pocket Sun
7pm - 12 midnight
The Jam Jar, Bristol

Stevie Toddler
Bassist/ vocalist Stevie Toddler has spent the last year incubating a new alt-pop sound. She'll now be performing with some Bristol favourites, including Harriet Riley on vibraphone and percussion, Danny Wallington on synths and Jon Clarke on Drum Kit. Think St Vincent meets Kim Deal meets Hiatus Kaiyote.

Pocket Sun
Wavy synths and intimate vocals create a radiant beam of dream pop grooves. A futuristic sound teamed with songwriting that, all the while, feels oddly familiar and nostalgic. Not to mention sporadic bursts of left field wonkyness and synth laden wig outs thrown in for good measure.
